Beskrivelse
WOODjet
Printegenskaper:
* Print Temperatur:195 – 210°C
* Bed Temperatur:0 – 60°C
* Toleranse: 0.01 +/-
* Krymping / Warping: Lite , anbefalt viftehastighet 100%
* Vanskelighetsgrad: Enkelt
Annen informasjon:
The birth of WOODJet
We, at Filament PM, strive to minimize the environmental impact in the production of our filaments.
Agricultural Cooperative Haňovice (hereinafter ACH) makes it possible for us to use electrical energy and heat generated by the biogas plant for production. We recently released recycled rePETG material and launched a return spool system last month.Are you interested in how WOODJet came to be? You will find out in this article.
We also worked on a long-term project in cooperation with the Technical University of Liberec, and specifically the Institute for Nanomaterials and Advanced Technology and Innovation. The goal of this project was to utilize a secondary raw material of agricultural production and since we are a member of ACH, we did not need to import the secondary raw material (e.g. from abroad), but we used ours.
The wide range of activities that ACH focuses on, from the production of plants to hydroponic greenhouses and through herding of cattle and pigs, meant we had a wide range of secondary raw materials to choose from.
To begin with, four secondary raw materials were selected for study, namely straw, coconut substrate from hydroponically grown tomatoes, stems from hydroponically grown tomatoes, and sugar beet pulp. Starting with ABS material, we checked how well the vegetable filler was compounded into the polymer matrix. These tests showed the best results for sugar beet pulp and stem from hydroponically grown tomatoes. These two fillers were then filled into PLA material. All of the components were tested on five different polymeric PLAs, and the best variant was selected, becoming WOODJet.
